Using and a Sleeping bonus (such as Well Rested) will increase the experience you gain per enchantment. Enchant all of them preferably with the most expensive enchantment you know for maximum profit. After that, you will have to advance by crafting items: acquire a number of filled soul gems of any size and the same number of unenchanted weapons or armor. One way to level up Enchanting quickly is by disenchanting items - the more powerful the better - but will only get you so far. Using and a Weapon with Soul Trap effect, you can train by recharging the weapon after every kill without having to worry about soul gems. It does not matter how many charges there are left on the weapon. Recharging enchanted weapons using gives small to moderate skill increases, based on the size of the soul used. However, only one item per may be ever disenchanted. The base value of the destroyed item is irrelevant. Disenchanting items gives widely varied skill increases, dependent on the effect learned and the magnitude on the item, with apparel effects generally giving larger increases than weapon effects.Crafting enchanted items gives the biggest overall skill increases.Getting the black star and then recharging your weapon with it after every kill is also a fast way to increase enchanting, though I prefer the above. I go raiding and use my soul trap weapons to harvest souls and then enchant several dozen rings/necklaces/armour pieces at once. I personally buy petty/lesser (and sometimes common) soul gems to increase enchanting in bulk. That might be true for recharging items, but for straight-out enchanting at the alter, all enchantments, souls, and soul gems all provide the same amount of XP. Granted, it's a bit more than most bandits probably wager as they unknowingly risk not only body, but soul in their efforts to rob and murder you, but really, that's just another opportunity to laugh at their pyrrhic attempts on the dovahkin's life.Greater soul gems will grant more xp than petty. But in a world where you have your Sovngardes and Oblivion planes, killing a soul is little different than killing any other living thing.just a matter of removing the same pawn from yet another board. Likely these are all matters of soul killings. You couldn't apply him to an item, but had to oust him yourself, presumably killing his soul in the process. There is that guy on the Azura questline who put himself into the soul gem. Then there'd be little difference in taking one soul or another aside from intensity. Unless, of course, the souls are less matters of identity and more that of life energy, which would make more sense than trapping little people and animals in your blade and gradually beating them out until they've just dissipated into non-existence. Any choice you make between skeever and human soul can only be morally arbitrary or immoral. Elder Scrolls Reading Club (Community Playthrough)īut if we're talking about a world of souls, you're presumably taking an afterlife and altering it to your own ends.Tag your submissions!
